thank god for biblical foods

I would like to thank alert-reader larry, from austin texas, who recently turned me onto my latest food fetish: old testament tortillas. I've basically been looking for these my entire life. Up until now, I've been eating mostly secular tortillas and they have been bringing me down. now that I have found this more christian alternative I can finally eat my burritos in peace, knowing that after I finish dining, I can also biblically beat my children to death.

holiness has never tasted quite so good.

I make toast out of that stuff, well, out of the biblical bread of course, not tortillas, that'd be a sin.

So, in keeping with the theme of the passage, I guess we should be eating that stuff 'til Obama's term is over.

After you eat your Old Testament-Mexican and beat your children, DT 23:12-13 will come in handy

hey they sell biblical frozen foods at whole foods. i saw them. and i thought that it was weird to see conservative food in a liberal grocery store. it is good to know barak has already brought some unity.

Didn't Ezekiel eat the old testament once? I would love to make a burrito out of the biblical page describing Ezekiel eating the bible.

I think that might create a dent in space-time.

(thats what she said.)

wow, I just spent over an hour reading your blog Thanks for the entertainment...it made me laugh a lot. I love Red Mountain Music. I also listened to Jon Black and Griffin House while I read....good stuff. thanks, I'll get to your other links that I hadn't heard of later.

Are you still thinking of doing that childrens record, cause that would be exciting. But you need to get to work on it cause if it takes ten years, my kids will all be teenagers. Also, will kids sing the songs? My kids LOVE any cd that kids sing on. They even like gals like Kasey Chambers cause they think she must be a kid with that voice.

um, i have this friend that is living in this small town christian culture where all the women grind their wheat because wheat ground at home is clearly not only healthier, but holier and what not. i sent this to her, and she laughed and felt relieved. so, um, thanks.
