Great to see you too. I really appreciate you taking the time and effort to come out to see us.

Great photos. Those clouds look even better in your pictures than they did in person. If I knew anything about photography I might suggest that the one of little lady F (the one on your flickr page right now) could win prizes. The one of the squinty-eyed open-mouthed ya-hoo rowing a boat (expertly) might turn a few heads too.

woottons - small world, that pca.

george - hey man, my pleasure. and yes, the clouds at the swamp really came out just as we were pulling out. those were the most exciting photos. I love clouds. and I agree, the one of you rowing is pretty sweet.

under the mountain - just west of tuscaloosa, on the black warrior river. (I think that's the name of the river?)

That is what I call it. But who knows? It is a weird place where the sun sets where it rises.

and where dogs chase swimming deer through the currents of deep alabama river water, as children point from the bank, and fathers wonder if they will ever get their dog back, and wonder also what the dog will do to the deer when it catches it.

Indeed, much wondering was had by all.
